GT Silica is a concentrated potassium silicate solution that adds silicon to your hydroponic nutrient programme — the one beneficial element that’s almost always missing from hydroponic systems but present in virtually every natural soil. How to Use GT Silica

⚠️ Critical: Always pre-dilute GT Silica in a separate container of fresh water before adding to your nutrient solution. Never add directly to concentrated nutrients — it will precipitate and become unavailable to your plants.

1. Pre-dilute GT Silica in a separate container of fresh water first
2. Add the diluted silica to your nutrient solution slowly
3. Mix thoroughly and allow to stand for 15 minutes
4. Check and adjust pH to between 5.5 and 6.5 — silicates are highly alkaline and will raise pH significantly

Dose rate: 1ml per litre = 20ppm silicon (standard Dutch recommendation). Full strength: up to 5ml per litre.

Recirculating systems: Add GT Silica to the tank once per week.

Run-to-waste systems: Add when preparing each fresh nutrient solution.
