ppm Conversion Reference

If your meter displays readings in ppm instead of mS/cm, use the conversion table below to calibrate correctly. The conversion factor varies by meter brand — check your manual to find which one applies to you.

• 1 mS = 500 ppm → 2.76 mS = 1380 ppm
• 1 mS = 666 ppm → 2.76 mS = 1838 ppm
• 1 mS = 700 ppm → 2.76 mS = 1932 ppm

How to Calibrate Your EC Meter

1. Pour enough CS 2.76 into a clean container to fully cover your EC probe
2. Place the probe into the solution
3. Calibrate your meter following the manufacturer's instructions
4. Remove the probe and rinse thoroughly with tap water
5. Discard the used solution — never reuse calibration solution

How often? Calibrate at least once a week — or more often if you're using your meter daily or in a commercial setup.

Store in a cool, dark place away from direct sunlight and heat. Keep the lid sealed when not in use.
